This bespoke new build detached home was constructed on a rear garden plot in Hampstead, NW6, where planning permission had been granted for a detached two-storey property—mirroring similar developments in the neighbouring gardens.
Because the rear of the plot sat up to 1.8 metres below ground level, we implemented a full tanking system, similar to basement construction. This waterproofing method was critical to prevent moisture ingress and ensure a dry, durable foundation.
One of the standout features is the solid oak staircase, custom-manufactured in Poland using 40mm thick oak treads and spray finishing offering both premium durability and visual impact
