Swedish Space‑Age Plastic & Wire Floor Lamp, 1950s/60s

Playful mid‑century floor lamp, Sweden, 1950s/60s, with a tall faceted plastic shade in alternating red, white and black segments on a sculptural black wire tripod base. The graphic colour blocking and rocket‑like conical form give a strong space‑age presence, perfect as a focal point in a living room, hallway or teenager’s room.

Because most pieces are one‑off, I can offer a short, no‑obligation reservation. I’m happy to hold an item for up to 24 hours without payment. After that, it will automatically return to open sale so other clients also have a fair chance to purchase. Very good vintage condition with light signs of use: minor surface marks to the plastic shade and some age‑consistent wear to the painted metal base; no cracks or structural issues visible. As with all vintage lighting, the electrics should be checked and, if necessary, rewired by a qualified electrician before use.
